Last year in the 2-year-old program, Flounder earned the “Most Improved” award for an outstanding amount of growth. He started the season as a goofy running knucklehead who was kind of just always there. As we got farther into winter and closer to race season, Flounder got put into lead on a whim and boy did he shine! Fast forward to Flounder being one of the most reliable leaders in the group, flaunting excellent stamina, courage and a knack for understanding his musher!
